Roof Repair
Most leaks are not a roof problem. They are a detail problem.
The majority of roof leaks we see do not come from the field of the roof. They come from the places where the roof meets something else: a chimney, a vent, a wall, a valley, a skylight. Those are details, and details are where installation quality shows.
A repair done right finds the actual entry point instead of sealing the visible stain. Water travels along framing before it drops, which is why the wet spot on your ceiling is often nowhere near the hole.

Signs you have a repair on your hands
- A stain on a ceiling or a wall that grows after heavy rain
- Shingles missing or lifted after a windstorm
- Visible damage around a chimney, skylight, or vent pipe
- Daylight visible through the roof boards from inside the attic
- Nail heads backing out and pushing up through the shingle above
- A previous repair that was sealed with roofing tar and has started leaking again
What we repair
- Leak diagnosis — we find the entry point, not just the stain
- Flashing repair and replacement at chimneys, walls, valleys, and penetrations
- Missing, cracked, and wind-lifted shingle replacement
- Storm and wind damage repair, including documentation for an insurance claim
- Pipe boot and vent collar replacement — the single most common leak we find
- Localized decking repair where water has already gotten in
How we approach a leak
Find it before fixing it
We trace the water back to where it enters, which frequently is not above the stain. Sealing the wrong spot is how a leak comes back.
Repair the cause, not the symptom
Roofing tar over failed flashing buys a season. New flashing, installed correctly, is a repair. We do the second one.
Tell you what else we saw
If we are on your roof and see something starting, you hear about it — with a straight answer about whether it needs attention now or in three years.
